He was meant for you After he co-wrote Jewel’s hit, “You Were Meant for Me,” Poltz got the chance to strike out on his own and recorded My Left Shoe, a CD that Rolling Stone gave three-and one-half stars. His latest recording, Dreamhouse includes more impish tunes from the guy who also wrote “I Killed Walter Matthau” and produced a quirky CD of 56 (official, plus bonus tracks) 45-second songs that he put on his answering machine while he was on the road.
