ABOUT THE SHOW

A wonderful swashbuckling ballet! This original fun-filled, full length classical ballet tells the tale of Tampa Bay's most famous pirate, Jose Gaspar. It's a rollicking pirate tale, and wonderful entertainment for the whole family. Get ready for plenty of dance, sword fighting and romance in one incredible show! Revel in the swashbuckling splendor of a bygone time – complete with villains, heroes, a fair lady and undaunted love. Be part of Tampa Bay's newest Gasparilla tradition! Written and directed by world re-known choreographer Christopher Fleming with stirring original musical composition by Tampa Bay's own Dr. David Goldstein.

Proceeds for these performances to benefit the Red Cross (Tampa Chapter) and Operation Homefront (Florida Chapter).

Under Florida Statutes 817.36 Resale of Tickets, which took effect July 1, 2009, it is illegal for any person or entity to offer or resell a ticket to any performance at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center for more than $1 over this nonprofit institution’s originally assigned price. Substantial penalties are in place for violators. All TBPAC tickets are covered by the statute and contain a notice that they cannot be resold for more than their originally assigned face value. To keep our tickets affordable and accessible, violators will be prosecuted.
